Alina Chaberska

Alina Chaberska Real Estate Portugal

I have been in Portugal for 17 years, originally from Poland. With experience living in several European countries and traveling across four continents, I consider myself a citizen of the world.

A daughter of a sailor father and a teacher mother, always curious about the world, eager for adventure and knowledge, my academic and personal path led me to choose Portugal – the land of explorers – as my home. Much like the “cornflower,” which is part of my Polish nickname, a small but weather-resistant flower, I too bloom when surrounded by people who share similar ethics, ambitions, and dreams.

A language enthusiast (I speak five languages fluently), a book lover with a passion for people, diverse realities, and life stories, I studied Spanish philology in my hometown of Wrocław. Despite internships and early successes as a teacher, I never felt my true calling, and I quickly turned to the world of sales. I returned to university and studied sales management.

Since 2007, shortly after arriving in Portugal, I have worked in sales: first in back-office and customer service, then “on the front lines” or “in the field,” always on the move, constantly adapting and evolving.

My choice to enter the real estate industry wasn’t immediate, initially driven by the promise of more flexible working hours, more time for my family, and availability for my second profession as a translator.

Very quickly, I discovered that the world of homes hides countless characters, stories, family sagas, and treasures of architecture and ethnology. In no time, I became truly passionate about these new discoveries – in the city of Porto and across northern Portugal. I consider myself privileged to act as a “matchmaker” between remarkable homes and fascinating people seeking them, whether for investment, a life change, relocation to another country, or starting a new life chapter.

I still enjoy quality time with my two children, who, from a young age, have learned the intricacies of the trade and mastered the professional jargon. 🙂

With my clients, I aim to build trusting relationships that often develop into lifelong friendships, opening doors to new people, knowledge, languages, and realities.

Always staying attentive to the latest trends in the real estate market, its conditions, and various client profiles, I focus on continuous training and don’t shy away from the most complex processes, deeper research, and unique properties. To sell them, I first have to study fundamental concepts in arts as varied as construction, winemaking, legislation, architecture, psychology, agriculture, or feng shui.

I live in Porto and like to think of myself as a “tripeira”: honest, warm-hearted, hardworking, passionate about life and friendships, and an incurable optimist!

My Portuguese or Porto “track” aligns perfectly with my Polish upbringing, with a strong emphasis on hospitality, mutual support, respect for others and for the home, and an open heart for everything and everyone that enters my life.

For this reason, I love to welcome everyone in Porto who, like me, is searching for their magical corner of the world. Just as I was welcomed with open arms, now it’s my turn to return this generous gesture.

I am also happy to help you safely buy or sell a property, providing information at every stage of the process and in the shortest time possible.
